Whether you're brand new to piano or returning after years away, I tailor each lesson to YOU.
Together, we will discover your natural learning style and musical goals so that you feel inspired and confident every time you sit at the keys.
I use a mix of manuscript reading, sight reading, and chord-based approaches — sometimes one, sometimes a combo! For most students, I start with the Faber & Faber Piano Adventures series, adjusting for kids or adults as needed. But honestly? I believe you can learn something from any piece of music, so I LOVE digging up songs that excite you and match your level.
From classical to pop, if it gets you excited to play, I’m all in.

About Midge
Midge is a professional accompanist, pianist, vocal coach, teacher, and musical director. She has (gulp!) over 37 years teaching experience. It all started at college earning her degrees in Piano Performance & Accompanying and Coaching.
Her passion is to bring joy to others through music! She teaches private piano and voice, directs and performs musicals, and plays for her local church. She is an enthusiastic lifelong learner and has completed her 5 year Certification utilizing the Alexander Technique for vocalist.
Currently she lives with the love of her life, Reed, and their five kitties in Conroe, Texas

I do offer lessons to students of all ages, from young children to adults.
Can I switch to voice lessons or piano lessons once I start?
Absolutely! I'm flexible and we can do both or combinations in between.
Do you offer any kind of recital or performance opportunities
Yes, I put together several "jam sessions" throughout the year, where students can show off what they have learned!
